This Executive Protection Security course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect high-profile individuals, such as executives, celebrities, and political figures. Topics covered include threat assessment, close protection techniques, emergency response planning, and risk management. The course also includes hands-on training in surveillance and counter-surveillance, as well as defensive and evasive driving. Upon completion of the course, participants will have a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of executive protection, and will be prepared to effectively protect their clients in a variety of settings.

Courses offered by JRISS
2 Day Introduction to Executive Protection
16-hour class (Intro Basic)
One learns what the industry expects and how the industry work & clear understanding working as team or individual. Non shooting, None detail just class room and walk throughs of drills & practical application
Shooting is optional and can be added after class
3 Day Advance Executive Protection
24-hour class – For experienced personal with proven constant work history
- Advance planning and details
- (Includes 1 mock (live person) detail /escort to a location and return)
homework, write up a mock detail for evaluation - Basic driving as pertaining to clients-movements & Vehicle movements (not a EVOC class)
This advanced course is not recommended for beginners.
Additional Training – (Optional)
- Live fire range drills (shooting skills and drills for while carrying armed)
Outside of California:
An abbreviation (10 hours) Intro to Executive Protection can be offered to a person who has attended a class before outside the state of California for a person who wants to obtain their BSIS credentials on Intro to Executive Protection certification.
